Sir, - St Patrick's Cathedral in Armagh City is not wheelchair accessible. This is the seat of power of the Roman Catholic Church in Ireland and should be setting an example to all church buildings in Ireland. Does it not want people who use wheelchairs to attend services?
The millennium is celebrating the birth of Jesus. Surely making all churches accessible would be a good way of marking the occasion? - Yours, etc.,
Martin Sinnott, Blackrock, Co Dublin.
