Where Is God?

I would like to share my response to this question, which I feel each one of us asks at some point in our lives.

I believe that God is not sitting on some celestial throne passively watching his "subjects". He is a God who is intimately involved with His people. He is always loving, guiding and protecting us. He is with each of us, including the victims of terrorism and their families.

The question then arises: Why do bad things happen to good people? Because of the evil actions of some people. God, who is love, also loves these people as He has no favourites. He has given all of us the amazing gift of free choice. Our God is not a tyrant and he does not attempt to control any of us but allows us to live in freedom. Those who unfortunately choose evil are the cause of these types of tragedies. - Yours, etc.,
