London - Disgraced peer Lord Archer flew back to Britain yesterday to face the prospect of court action over allegations that he sought to influence witnesses in his 1987 libel trial.
It was confirmed yesterday that police had handed over a dossier on the Archer case to the Crown Prosecution Service, whose lawyers are now considering whether to charge the former Conservative deputy chairman.
