Sir, - The dream of a national stadium of the "Bertie Bowl" magnitude shall, in time, become a nightmare for future generations, when the cost of paying for it way exceeds the benefits Irish society will get from it. May I suggest a smaller facility in each of the four provinces which will be more accessible to more people, both athletes and supporters. Thus enriching the sporting lives of the people closer to the games we play. - Yours etc.,
