Do you fancy a break with a difference? A chance to win a free stay at one of Irish Landmark Trust’s 33 heritage properties could be just the ticket.
Situated on a working farm in Corofin, Co Clare, and dating from the early 1800s, Inchiquin House is an example of the wonderful historical built environment that surrounds us in Ireland and provides the backdrop of our daily lives.
Our built heritage provides clues to how our society has evolved, helping us to examine our history and traditions and enabling us to develop an awareness about ourselves. Building conservation charity Irish Landmark Trust, founded in 1992, saves historic buildings in danger of being lost forever and gives them a future by making them available for self-catering holidays. Its work and properties allow guests to appreciate what our heritage has bestowed on us and ensure our past has a future.
