Ballylanders bridged an 82-year gap when they won the Limerick SFC against neighbours Hospital Herbertstown in a one-sided final at the Gaelic Grounds. Ballylanders scored the only goal after three minutes when Noel Frewen netted. Ballylanders went on to lead 1-10 to 0-4 at halftime and while the sides shared five points in a disappointing second half, the issue was never in doubt.
