Last bit of golf equipment you bought

I bought a driver in Arizona for $600 earlier this year, which I've since fallen out of love with and replaced.

Last time you took a golf cart. Where and why?

On the Gateway Tour in Arizona earlier this year because it was compulsory. I generally dislike them and prefer to walk as with the buggy you're up on your next shot far too quickly.

Last time you muttered an obscenity on the golf course and why?

Under my breath after going out of bounds in the second round at The Open last week in Carnoustie.

Which major would you like to attend and why?

I'd love to play in The Open again, the buzz on the first tee this year was unbelievable.

Ideal fourball. Who and where?

Hogan, Seve and Tiger with Nicklaus spectating, at Augusta, all of them at their peak.

One last round on earth, where would it be?

Augusta.

Dress sense. Davis Love or Ian Poulter?

Poulter.

Is a Titleist ProV1 worth the expense?

Yes it is, Titleist have been very good to me.

Best golf Club food. Where?

Baltray unquestionably, the steak is fantastic.

140 yards out from the green. Flat calm. What's in your hand?

Eight iron and hopefully it does what it's supposed to!

Favourite club in times of trouble?

Around the greens a lob wedge but off the fairway a seven iron.

Parkland or links?

Links everytime, the purest form of golf.

Must see golfing destination?

Any good links course in Ireland or Scotland.

Hidden gem?

Esker Hills is great value for money and a challenging course to boot.

One mulligan in life?

I wish I knew what I knew now about golf about 10 years ago!
