Bohemians v Bray Wanderers:Bohemians manager Sean Connor hopes to complete a deal to bring forward Chris Turner's arrival from Sligo Rovers over the course of today. The midfielder has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the Dublin club but Rovers had insisted on receiving a fee for the player if he wished to make the move before the end of the season.
Connor is also off tomorrow to Birmingham where he hopes to tie up loan deals for two more players but before then his side must take on Bray Wanderers in this evening's televised League of Ireland game.
"It's a must-win match if we want to stay in contention at the top of the table," said Connor last night. The hosts, though, are without John Paul Kelly and Jason McGuinness, both of whom should be available for the game against Drogheda United next week, while Harpal Singh is still a little further away from first-team action.
Bray have doubts about Jay O'Shea (ankle) and Colm Tresson (calf) but come into the game with some confidence after beating Waterford in their last game. They've enjoyed mixed fortunes against Bohemians this season, though, with a good win early in the league followed by a 3-1 defeat in the League Cup.
Galway United, meanwhile, have handed striker Derek Glynn a new contract just months after he arrived at the club from junior football. After taking a while to break into the first team at Terryland Park, Glynn marked his elevation to the club's starting line-up with seven goals in five games.
