LIMERICK HURLER Denis Moloney has suffered another injury blow after sustaining a suspected broken toe on club duty last weekend.

Following the poor defensive performance against Clare in the Munster semi-final, Moloney was rated as a definite starter for the All-Ireland qualifier against Offaly on July 12th but has now been ruled out.

Meanwhile, Limerick manager Richie Bennis has revealed that midfielder Wayne McNamara and forward Conor Fitzgerald are both three weeks away from full fitness and will also miss the visit of Offaly to the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday week.

Waterford manager Davy Fitzgerald has confirmed that Séamus Prendergast and Aidan Kearney will not play against Antrim through injury in next weekend's All-Ireland senior hurling qualifier.

Fitzgerald also said inspirational centre half back Ken McGrath is a 50-50 starter after recovering from surgery to clean up knee cartilage, a problem that ruled him out of the Munster championship defeat to Clare.
