Antrim 2-15 London 0-8Antrim cruised to a victory over London at Casement Park on Saturday to get their NFL Division Two campaign off to a good start. The winners controlled midfield through Martin McCarry and Mark McCrory while attackers Conal Kelly, Kevin Madden and Kevin Brady gave the London defence a real test.
Kevin Brady missed a goal chance in the opening minute when London's Karl Scanlon cleared off the line but he made amends after two minutes with a point. It took London 26 minutes to get their opening score, when Chris O'Reilly pointed a free. He added two more as Antrim led by 1-10 to 0-3 at half-time.
Three Antrim points in the four minutes after half-time killed off the game. London kept plugging away, with three points from O'Reilly and two from Kieran McCarthy. However, seven minutes from time Darren O'Hare scored Antrim's second goal.
