Antrim 1-19 Kldare 2-7:THE SHARP-SHOOTING double act of Liam Watson and Neil McManus combined to give Antrim an ultimately comfortable victory over Division Two newcomers Kildare in Newbridge.
The Ulster men didn’t have it all their own way though and struggled to impose themselves on the gritty hosts until the final quarter. Kildare wing-back Eanna O’Neill was sent off with five minutes remaining.
