Conor Gormley was a goal-scorer as champions Carrickmore beat Clonoe 2-11 to 0-5. Peter Canavan, Enda McGinley, Davy and Mark Harte and John Devine helped Errigal Ciaran defeat Chris Lawn's Moortown by 3-8 to 0-4. Seán Cavanagh (0-5), Ryan Mellon and Philip Jordan were on the Moy team that beat Donagmore 2-10 to 0-10.

Owen Mulligan suffered a head injury in Cookstown's 1-9 draw with Clan na nGael, for whom Stephen O'Neill and Brian Dooher played. Ryan Mellon helped Dromore beat Trillick, while Mickey McGee was sent off during Loughmacrory's 0-6 to 0-5 defeat by Edendork. Joe McMahon was ruled out of the clash with Dungannon with a calf injury, but his brothers, Justin and Paddy, inspired Omagh to a 0-13 to 0-11 win.
