Drogheda United's season continues to go from bad to worse as non-league outfit Bangor Celtic secured a shock victory. The game's only goal came 19 minutes from the end courtesy of Damien Stout. Other heroes were goalkeeper, Stephen Geraghty who produced a string of fine saves and full back Anthony Fitzpatrick whose goalline clearance six minutes from the end ensured their win. Stout's winning strike came after a Richard O'Driscoll freekick had trickled through the legs of Drogheda's Damien Maher.
Drogheda had the majority of possession but the visitors held on to win.
