Cork native David Murray, who works in London with Anglo Irish Bank, made a winning raid to team up with Costantino Rocca to win last week's Pro-Am in the West of Ireland Classic at Galway Bay. The 18-handicapper from Youghal - who plays out of the Richmond club - and his fellow amateurs Tim Edwards (13) and Royal Co Down member Craig Best (10) joined forces with the Italian to return a winning score of 16-under-par 56. Obviously, the winning touch rubbed off on Rocca who, of course, went on to win the tournament itself.
