Black Sam chasing Group One in Munich

Aidan O'Brien and Michael Kinane return to the Group One trail tomorrow in Germany

Aidan O'Brien and Michael Kinane return to the Group One trail tomorrow in Germany. Black Sam Bellamy runs in the Grosser Dallmayr Preis over 10 furlongs in Munich and will renew rivalry with Highdown, whom he beat in May's Tattersalls Gold Cup.

Highdown will try to give Godolphin their 100th top-flight winner, but also in the race is the German Derby runner-up Ransom O'War.

The Ballydoyle team haven't scored at Group One level since Yesterday's Irish 1,000 Guineas.

Tomorrow's other home card is at Wexford, and the bet of the afternoon there looks to be Pease Blossom. This one ran second to the decent Doonaree on the flat and is preferred to the 103-rated Bellingham in the maiden hurdle.

Sparrow's Trap ran an okay race behind High Priestess on the flat on Wednesday and has an eye-catching weight in the second division of the Opportunity Hurdle.

Olive Gaule takes 10lb off Corrib Boy in the mile and five handicap and that could prove the difference to the Joe Crowley runner, whose fifth to Pantarez during the week reads pretty well in this company.
