RACING:FRESH FROM So You Think's Irish Champion Stakes success, the all-conquering Aidan O'Brien could have up to five Group One targets to aim at this weekend.

Fame And Glory holds an entry in Saturday’s €220,000 Irish Field St Leger at the Curragh where the €200,000 Goffs National Stakes, a race O’Brien has won seven times already, will also be run.

The Ballydoyle trainer’s Seville is currently an 8 to 1 shot in ante-post betting for Saturday’s Ladbrokes St Leger at Doncaster while the Group One focus will switch to France on Sunday.

O’Brien has already nominated St Nicholas Abbey for the Group Two Arc Trial, the Prix Foy, but Wonder Of Wonders is an entry in the Prix Vermeille on the same card while Zoffany is in the Group One Prix Du Moulin over a mile.

Blossom Gate may have lost her unbeaten record at Killarney last month but the opposition in this evening’s mares maiden hurdle at Roscommon looks easier. John Kiely’s four-year-old, a bumper winner at both Cork and Galway, dwelt at the start of an amateur flat race that day but she rallied to finish third to Galileo’s Choice and Luska Lad.

The latter is a high-class hurdler at his best and Galileo’s Choice advertised the form in a big way by winning Saturday’s Group Three Kilternan Stakes. Mamma Rosa started favourite on her last start at Cork but found Jills Ballet too good. Pat Flynn’s runner can go one better in the fillies handicap.
