Johnny Giles appears to be a man of traditional values. He comes across as informed, usually understated and as a pundit who can cut to the chase with ease. So when Giles lashes out you stop and take notice.
This week he used a phrase that should stay with us. Regarding the Kenny Dalglish affair at Newcastle United and the way in which soccer in Britain is taking shape, Giles hit the nail on the head.
