BOHEMIANS LOOK to have been handed as favourable a tie in this season’s second qualifying round of the Champions League, with the Dubliners due to face The New Saints from Wales on July 13th and 20th.
The League of Ireland sides competing in the Europa League, meanwhile, enjoyed slightly mixed fortunes. Sporting Fingal look to have been handed the toughest assignment with Liam Buckley’s men due to take on CS Maritimo of Portugal in the second qualifying round of the competition.
Shamrock Rovers will face either FC Ulisses of Armenia or Yehuda Tel-Aviv in the second round of the competition while Dundalk will take on Levski Sofia at the same stage in the event that they successfully see off Luxembourg’s CS Grevenmacher in the first round.

EUROPA LEAGUE first qualifying round:Dundalk v CS Grevenmacher (Luxembourg). Ties to be played on July 1st and 8th.
Second round:Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) v Dundalk/Grevenmacher; Shamrock Rovers v FC Ulisses (Armenia) or Yehuda Tel-Aviv (Israel); Maritimo (Portugal) v Sporting Fingal. Ties to be played on July 15th and 22nd.
