Bray Wanderers 0 Bohemians 3:Bray Wanderers, now nine games without a win, stay anchored in the relegation zone after second-half goals from Mark Rossiter, Ryan McCann and Glen Crowe gave Bohemians a comfortable Premier Division victory at the Carlisle Grounds last night.
Bohemians should have taken the lead on 13 minutes when striker Crowe headed straight into the arms of Bray goalkeeper Chris O'Connor. And a Thomas Heary header from 14 yards was brilliantly pushed over by O'Connor.
Bray had the ball in the net on 41 minutes from striker Andrei Georgescu only for the goal to be disallowed for a marginal offside.
However, Bohemians took the lead on 53 minutes when Rossiter picked up a loose ball in midfield, surged forward and cracked a great swerving shot from the edge of the box past O'Connor.
Three minutes later Bohs stretched their lead when a long clearance by debut goalkeeper Alan Blayney was was headed on by Crowe with a slight touch from Fenn into the path of ex-Celtic man McCann to fire home from 18 yards. And a rampant Bohs again went close when Crowe's effort rebounded off O'Connor's head only for substitute Dean Richardson to hit the bar from 25 yards with the ball then scrambled to safety.
However, Crowe made the points safe on 76 minutes when totally unmarked he headed past O'Connor from eight yards after a Richardson free on the right.
The game had a heated finish when Bray's Ray Kenny and Bohs' sub Darren Mansaram were both red-carded.
