MOTORSPORT:Niall Breen (Dundalk) and Michael Devaney (Dublin) race in rounds 13 and 14 of the British International Formula Three Championship on the Belgian Grand Prix road circuit of Spa Francorchamps on Sunday.
With 95 points, Formula Three debutant Breen is fifth in the series but is a long way behind Marko Asmer (Estonia) on 189 points. With 10 races to run he has a slim chance of overtaking Maro Engel (Germany) on 111 points, and Britain's Sam Bird (106) and Stephen Jelley (100).
Devaney is campaigning a Mygale and recent good finishes, including a fourth, has moved him into ninth place on 33 points.
Niall Quinn (Dunboyne) is fifth and on the pace in the German Formula BMW Championship. On 197 points he is nine points off fourth place. He races at Zandvoort, Holland on Sunday.
Tomorrow's programme at Kirkistown, Co Down features Formula Ford, Stryker and Sportscar races. Morgan Dempsey, Simon Woodside, Neville Smyth and Peter Dempsey Formula Ford winners were winners in Co Down.
Eugene Donnelly/Paul Kiely and Eamonn Boland/Francis Regan made it an Irish one-two in last week's International Isle of Man Rally.
