GAELIC GAMES:BERNARD Brogan (Dublin) and Lar Corbett (Tipperary) have picked up more individual honours after being named as the GPA players of the year for football and hurling respectively. Both won the All Star equivalents last month. They will each receive an Opel Astra car worth €25,000.
The Munster Council have annouced dates and venues for next year’s championships. All-Ireland football champions Cork will begin the defence of their title at home to Clare on May 22nd.
