Former Curtis Cup player and captain Ita Butler will give the address at the 50th annual Thanksgiving Service for the Gift of Sport in St Patrick's Cathedral next Sunday (7.30pm).

ILGU president Teddy Mayne and Irish Sports Council chairman John Treacy will read the lessons and music will be provided by the Dublin Welsh Choir and Stedfast Band. All sports people and sports followers are invited to attend. A collection will be taken up on behalf of the Samaritans.
