SCHOOLS RUGBY:A pair of tries from flanker Gavin Byrne and wing Mickey Roche accounted for half of CBS Wexford's eight tries as they clinched the Leinster Schools Senior Development Cup final 51-20 against Ratoath College at Donnybrook yesterday.
Wexford wing Ruairí Devereux scored the first try while two penalties from Ratoath outhalf Darragh Kelly kept his side in touch. A stunning counter-attacking effort by outhalf Eoin Roche made it 18-6 at the interval.
Replacement prop Ciarán Kavanagh and lock Daragh Comiskey added tries as Wexford continued to hold the whip hand.
