Castlegregory 1-14 Kiltimagh 0-15
CASTLEGREGORY claimed Kerry’s fourth junior All-Ireland title after an epic encounter with Kiltimagh of Mayo that needed extra-time to find a winner.
Kiltimagh’s Ciarán Charlton held his nerve to send a free over from 25 yards deep in to injury-time, sending the tie in to extra time.
However, Castlegregory led throughout extra-time, Charlton having a chance to send the final to a replay with another late, late free-kick.
This time his effort dropped short and Castlegregory counter-attacked with Alan Fitzgerald sending over a point to seal the win.
