Laois SHC Final/Castletown 0-13 Camross 1-10: Despite not collecting a winner's medal, Zane Keenan stole the show at yesterday's Laois senior hurling final in Portlaoise.
The 16-year-old scored 1-7 of his side's total as a Camross prevented Castletown from winning a championship they have dominated in recent years.
Camross were 0-7 to 0-5 to the good at half-time but Castletown took control in the second half and worked up a lead of four points by the end of normal time through points from Paul Cuddy, James Hooban and John Kingston.
Zane Keenan then showed his class in injury-time when he scored a goal and a point to square things up so the sides will do it all again at the same venue on bank holiday Monday.
