Ailish Mulcahy from Ross golf club, Killarney will be out to defend her title when the grand finals of the Ford Ladies Strokeplay championship takes place at Druids Glen today. However, Mulcahy will have to produce the from of last year if she is to hold off the other 60 qualifiers for today's finals.

Finalists, having qualified first at club level and then through one of the four regional finals, will compete in three categories. Class one is for 0-12 handicap, class two 13-24 handicap and class three 25-36 handicap.
