ULSTER SFC SEMI-FINALS Crossmaglen 0-10 St Eunan's 0-8: SIX-TIMES Ulster champions Crossmaglen booked their third consecutive final yesterday at Brewster Park, Enniskillen.
St Eunan's, who had to field without their star full forward Brendan Devenney, looked good early on, but Crossmaglen's experience gradually came to the fore.
St Eunan's led 0-5 to 0-1 after 15 minutes thanks to points from Ross Wherity (2), Conal Dunne (free), Rory Kavanagh and Paddy McGowan. But at the interval Cross were only 0-6 to 0-4 behind.
Early in the second half, Kavanagh's shot rebounded off the upright but Crossmaglen, through Oisín McConville, hit three points in a row to lead for the first time in the match (0-7 to 0-6).
St Eunan's had a goal chance when Kavanagh's pass found Wherity whose close range shot was deflected for a 45 by the Armagh goalkeeper Paul Hearty. Wherity converted the 45 to bring the team's level at 0-7 each.
But McConville converted a couple of frees to help ensure his side's two-point victory.
