Clare had a clearcut win over Kerry at Cusack Park, Ennis, on Saturday. Clare opted to play against a strong breeze in the first half but were still ahead by two points at the end of the first quarter, the scores coming from Alan Markham and Colin Lynch, while Mike Slattery had a Kerry goal from a penalty.
