Limerick 0-10 Clare 2-7:TWO GOALS from senior county hurler Cathal McInerney helped Clare to victory over wasteful Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds.

Limerick finished with 14 men when Ian Corbett was shown a straight red for a clumsy tackle minutes from the end.

It was 0-3 apiece after 13 minutes before McInerney superbly swept past Aidan Morrissey and blasted past James Brouder.

There was three points between the teams at the break (1-5 to 0-5), and McInerney’s second goal after 52 minutes decided the outcome.
