There are four uncapped players in the 18-man Ireland squad for the 10-nation Gold Cup Tournament in Dhaka, Bangladesh, next month. They are goalkeeper Wesley Bateman, defenders Karl Burns and Brian Waring and midfielder Paul Lombard.

Also notable is the recall by coach John Clarke of the 93-times capped attacker, Daniel Clarke.

Unfortunate not to be included is the recently injured Graham Shaw of Glenanne. Unavailable for the trip was Galahad Goulet of Avoca.
