Tipperary
Eoin Kelly (Club: Mullinahone; Age: 19) - Winner of two Munster minor medals from 1997 and 1999, he was also a Munster under-21 winner in 1999. An All-Ireland Colleges winner with St Kieran's, Kilkenny in 2000. NHL medal winner this year, he has also played in goal for his club Mullinahone.
Lar Corbett (Thurles Sarsfields; 20) - Made his senior debut against Clare in the South East league last year. Has never played minor or under-21 up to this year, but scored 4-11 in six league games for Tipperary this year. NHL medal winner this year, he scored 0-4 in the final.
Tomas Costello (Cappawhite; 23) - Has a Munster and All-Ireland minor medal from 1996, and a Munster under-21 medal from 1999. NHL medal winner this year, has played at either corner back or full back.
Clare
Tony Carmody (Club: Inagh; Age: 19) - Has been with the Clare minor team for the last three years. In 1999 was the key player in St Flannan's, Ennis team that won the All-Ireland Colleges title over St Kieran's Kilkenny. Two years left at under-21 level.
Gerry Quinn (Corofin; 20) - Also a key player in the St Flannan's team that won the All-Ireland Colleges title in 1999. Started with Clare in last year's loss to Tipperary, but played at corner forward. Still has a year left at under-21 grade.
David Hoey (St Joseph's Doora-Barefield; 25) - An All-Ireland club medal winner from 1999, when St Joseph's beat Rathnure and Hoey was named man of the match. Also a Munster club medal from last year. Widely regarded as the man for a big day.
