Coady a class act

Carlow outclassed Roscommon at Athleague yesterday to take their first brace of points

Carlow outclassed Roscommon at Athleague yesterday to take their first brace of points. Inspired by centre forward Pat Coady, who scored 1-8, the visitors led by three points (0-8 to 0-5) at the interval.

Two minutes later John Leamy's first-time pull went all the way to the Roscommon net and when full forward Des Murphy netted midway through the half the contest was over.
