Carlow advanced to the a semi-final against Wicklow thanks to an impressive display yesterday.
They had first use of the strong breeze and this was the deciding factor. Kildare held a two-point lead soon after the start, but Carlow never looked back after Pat Coady put them ahead in the 25th minute.
