The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, where this year's rugby World Cup final will be played, have devised an "Adopt a Paver" scheme under which any person can buy an eight inch by four inch granite stone to be engraved with two lines of up to 14 letters each. You can make up your own ditties.

The stone is then polished and set in the ground around the stadium. Cost of immortality - £37.60 for black paint and £44.65 for gold. Strangely one of the first takers in the project are a Welsh rock band, The Manic Street Preachers. There goes their street cred.
