Irish international Gary Cullen sensationally withdrew from the Leinster panel at the men's Senior Interprovincial matches after being left out of the side for yesterday's 10-3 win over Munster at Killarney's Lackabane course.
The Beaverstown man lost 5 and 4 to Colm Moriarty in the singles on Wednesday and by the same margin in partnership with Eoin O'Sullivan in the foursomes.
Leinster captain Padraig Hogan said: "I felt I could not do justice to Gary or the team by picking him today and I wasn't going to change the foursomes pairings anyway."
Back on the course, Leinster's Adrian Morrow drew deep from the well of experience to clinch a half that could prove vital in the final reckoning.
The 48-year-old was two down with three to play against Danny Sugrue before battling back with wins a the 17th and 18th.
Leinster eventually beat Munster 10¡3 to give themselves a shot at the title when they meet champions Ulster today.
Ulster had already beaten Connacht 8-5, with Connacht's three wins at the end coming when the match was decided.
