Sinead Keane followed up her success in the Hermitage Ladies Scratch Cup when helping Curragh to victory in the Midland Ladies Senior Cup at Carlow golf club last week. The defending champions beat their hosts in the first round and followed with a 3-2 win over the Heath to qualify for a semi-final with Blainroe which they won 4-1.
Old rivals Woodenbridge were meanwhile working their way through the top half where they beat Edenderry, Waterford and Kilkenny. Curragh, however, were again far too strong winning 4-1 to qualify for another All-Ireland final.
