Waterford and Monaghan will have to wait until Sunday, October 25th, before replaying the All-Ireland Women's Football final which ended on level terms on Sunday. The throw-in time is 3.00 p.m.
That was the next available date at Croke Park for a Sunday fixture since the next two weekends are taken up by the International Rules series between Ireland and Australia.
The adjustments at Croke Park for the series include the installation of two additional uprights to facilitate the scoring rules of the international series, as well as a completely different set of commercial sponsors on panels of both stands.
"We could have gone to Parnell Park, but of course that would have ended up clashing with the Australian games," said Helen O'Rourke, secretary of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association.
