Aidan O'Brien will decide this morning whether to run Heeremandi in Sunday's Group One Prix Morny Piaget at Deauville. Heeremandi hasn't run since finishing sixth in Royal Ascot's Queen Mary Stakes and significantly was taken out of today's Lowther Stakes at York.
"She is a possible runner in France and the Group One status is attractive," O'Brien said yesterday.
The Ballydoyle trainer whose juvenile strength was emphasised by Saratoga Springs victory at York on Tuesday has yet to decide if King Of Kings will take on his main rivals in the 2,000 Guineas market, Daggers Drawn and Central Park, in next month's Laurent Perrier Champagne Stakes at Doncaster.
King Of Kings is one of the 45 entries still in the Champagne but O'Brien said: "We're not sure where he will go next but the horse is in great form. We'll decide nearer the day."
O'Brien did confirm that Desert King, a laudable runner-up in York's Juddmonte International on Tuesday, will run next in the Digifone Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown on September 9th.
"We were delighted with his York run and later in the season, the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and the Breeders Cup are all options," O'Brien added.
