Listowel report:Long standing maiden Dingle Belle came good in style at Listowel yesterday when running out an impressive winner of the featured Lartigue Hurdle.
Jessica Harrington's charge skipped clear before the last under Shane Jackson to record a cosy four-and-a-half length verdict in the €55,000 contest.
"At long last! She's been second three times on the Flat and three times over hurdles. She's kept me waiting a long time," said Harrington of the 20 to 1 shot.
"I actually thought today that with the weight she had compared to my other two that she had a great chance.
"Everything went right for her. They went a good gallop and Shane gave her a great ride. She had a wind operation earlier in the summer and it's made all the difference to her."
The other big pot also witnessed a shock result with the Ken Condon-trained Lilleshall (also 20 to 1) claiming the €50,000 Goffs Autumn Bonus.
Colm O'Donoghue gave the filly a positive ride from the front and the pair stayed on strongly down the straight to score by a length and a quarter from The Quiet Enforcer.
No Strings left his debut run at Gowran Park behind to edged a close verdict from Flight Of The Hawk in the juvenile maiden.
Willie Martin hopes Gist may be up to Listed class after the filly defied a high draw to get up close home in the opening six-furlong handicap.
Ruby Walsh and Tony Martin teamed up successfully when Millanymare claimed the handicap chase while Desert Mile burst through in the final furlong to claim the fillies handicap.
