Golf South African Open: England's Luke Donald fired a second consecutive 67 to jump into a share of the lead with US Ryder Cup captain Tom Lehman after yesterday's fog-delayed third round of the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California.
The pair were tied on 14-under-par 202 after Lehman struggled to a one-over 73.
They were a shot ahead of Australia's Peter Lonard (71) and American Charles Howell (64).
Tiger Woods was a shot further back after a second-round 63 and a level par 72 in the third round.
On the Champions Tour, Tom Watson extended his lead to three strokes with a second straight 64 on Saturday at the MasterCard Championship in Hawaii.
Using precise ball-striking and deft chipping, Watson was bogey-free and one shot off the course record for the second day in a row.
Wayne Levi was in second heading into last night's final round at Hualalai Golf Club, which was vulnerable to low scoring on a cloudy and windless day.
Watson completed 36 holes in 16-under-par 128. That is the best starting 36-hole score in tournament history and ties the best consecutive 36-hole score.
Levi, who registered six birdies in seven holes, was on 131.
