It promises to be a day to remember next Monday, April 2nd, for star Shelbourne midfielder Paul Doolin, who holds a golf outing as part of his testimonial year.

Forty four teams are set to compete in the outing, sponsored by Umbro, at Malahide Golf Club. Although Doolin doesn't play golf himself he is set to get the show running by hitting the opening shot.

However, several of his team-mates from Shelbourne - and another of his former clubs Bohemians - are amongst the 44 competing teams.

An auction is also due to take place later that night in the Malahide clubhouse where many soccer memorabilia will be on offer.
