Bloody foreigners. Two of them at Wolves have, would you credit it, raised a public eyebrow at the midlanders' hard-drinking habits and suggested, Lord above, that their boozerama philosophy may be hampering their attempts to catapult themselves in to Premiership-land. "One of the players came up to me in training the other day and, as calm as you like, breathed full into my face and it smelled of barley and hops," alleged Guinean international Mohamed Camara, an allegation that was backed up by Frenchman Wolf Ludovic Pollet. Manager Dave Jones (above) suggested they may have been quoted out of context. Quite what context would have been tolerable he didn't say but still, aren't Camara and Pollet some pair, expecting highly-paid professionals to turn up for work sober? Foreigners, huh. They just don't understand the game, do they?
