Dublin comfortably defeated a game but limited Kildare side at Navan last night to advance to a Leinster minor football final clash with Offaly.
The Dubs had six points to spare at the end, a second half David O'Callaghan goal killing off the Kildare threat. After a tight first half Kildare looked to be in the hunt up until the last 20 minutes when the stronger metropolitans pulled away.
Dublin were at top at mid-field throughout with Martin Whelan, Declan O'Mahony and centre back Brian Cullen very impressive.
SCORERS - DUBLIN :D O'Callaghan (1-2), M Whelan (0-3), N McAuliffe and J Noonan (0-2 each).
KILDARE - F Hannify and E McCormack (0-2 each), D McCormack and J White (0-1 each).
