Leinster Under-21 FC Quarter-finals: The scoreline flattered the winners in Dundalk yesterday but the result tells no lie and had the referee blown his whistle on 60 minutes with Dublin leading 0-10 to 1-5 it would have been a fair result.

However, Dublin added two goals and a point in injury-time.

Twice Louth pegged the visitors back when they appeared to be gaining control. The first came in the final five minutes of the first half when Dublin led by 0-6 to 0-2 with a strong breeze. Shane Lennon netted with an opportunist strike and Paddy Matthews made it 1-3 to 0-6 at the break.

Dublin took a two-point lead early in the second half only to see Louth cut that advantage also, but the losers didn't score again.
