Derek Duggan secured a deserved draw for Roscommon with a pointed 45 metre kick in injury time in the FBD Connacht Football League final at Dr Hyde Park yesterday. Padraig Joyce had an early goal for Galway, but a fine Lorcan Dowd goal helped Roscommon into a 1-7 to 1-3 lead. Home goalkeeper Derek Thompson saved a penalty from Joyce in the 20th minute of an exciting second half.
