Division Two A/Longford 0-11 Leitrim 0-11: Longford and Leitrim finished all square in a clash that attracted a crowd of over 3,000 to Pearse Park yesterday. The home side had established a commanding 0-6 to 0-2 lead with 20 minutes gone.

They managed just two more points during the rest of the first half - both from Padraic Davis - and Leitrim remained in contention following scores from Shane Foley, Michael Foley and Declan Maxwell.

Trailing by 0-8 to 0-5 at the interval, Leitrim got back on level terms after points from Michael Foley (two), Christopher Carroll and Johnny Goldrick. Longford's reply was a free converted by Davis and he put his side back in front in the 60th minute when firing over another free.

James Glancy scored the equalising point for Leitrim but they fell behind again when Davis landed another point and, with a minute left, Michael Duignan shot the final point of the game.
