Joe Durant capped off a record-breaking week of scoring in style last night by shooting a seven-under-par 65 to win the 90hole Bob Hope Classic with a PGA Tour record total of 36under-par 324.
Durant's red-hot form enabled him to get the furthest under par of any player in tour history. Tom Kite had set the old 90-hole PGA Tour mark at the 1993 Bob Hope Classic with 35-under-par.
Paul Stankowski finished second, four strokes behind Durant.
