Kerry 6-17 IT Tralee 0-12:Two early goals by Shane Nolan in the first half steadied Kerry, while two more from Daniel Collins gave Kerry the cushion they needed and the breathing space to play an expansive game, as they led 4-6 to 0-9 at the interval.

The second half was a non-event with Tralee managing only three points, Mark Deegan their only bright spark in what was to prove a dark afternoon.
