Eddie Condren will be defending the European Challenge Cup (ECC) at the European Club over the Easter weekend. The event was created in 1997 to provide an Easter Holiday competition for those low handicap golfers who failed to gain a place in the `West'.

Now that the West of Ireland Championship has vacated its traditional Easter date, it has been decided to adjust the ECC tournament conditions to cater for all championship standard players. Entry forms are available from the European Club, Brittas Bay, Co Wicklow.
