AS EXPECTED, Blackrock College progressed to the McRory Cup Under-19 final.

Last night at Anglesea Road, UCD felt the full force of the Blackrock forwards and the pace of their backline.

Two David Quinlan penalties gave Blackrock an early cushion. Before the end five tries followed from Andrew Boyd, Niall O'Dovan, Leo Cullen, Quinlan and Richard Woods. Quinlan added two conversions. UCD's solitary response came from a Cillian Sparks penalty.
